Join us for the finissage of our inaugural exhibition Growing Gills with performances from Adam Christensen and Zoë Marden.

Adam Christensen is a London based artist who makes performance, video, fabric and text works and performs with the music project Ectopia, which was Wysing Arts Centre’s band-in-residence in 2016. Christensen recently performed at DRAF’s Evening of Performances and 10th Anniversary Party and has exhibited and performed at the ICA and Southard Reid.  

Zoë Marden works with sound, moving image, performance and installation and explores the figure of the Witch as archetype for the feminist imaginary. She has performed at Manifesta 11, Artlicks weekend, The Moth Club, Vogue Fabrics and Girls Only London and is currently studying MFA Moving Image at the Royal College of Art.

This will be the last opportunity to visit Growing Gills. Come and see the exhibition alongside the performances and experience Gaia Fugazza’s mouth sculptures. Performances start from 7:30pm.
