Getting Here:

Our new location in Holborn is just a 5 minute walk from Holborn Station 

We are 10 minute walk East from The British Museum.

The nearest tube and train stations are: Holborn (3 minutes), Russell Square (6 minutes), Chancery Lane and Covent Garden (7minutes).

There are lots of bus routes with stops between 3-5 minutes from our new venue. 59, 68, 91, 168, 188, N91, X68
The nearest mainline stations are: Farringdon Rail and KingsCross ThamesLink.

Once here:

The gallery is accessed via street level, and public areas of the gallery are set across two floors. Access to the first floor is via two flights of stairs, or we also have an access lift for wheelchair users and those who need it. We also have an accessible WC on the ground floor. Please get in touch if you have any further requests around access.

Visually impaired visitors

Large print versions of all exhibition texts are available, please ask at the front desk

We usually are able to prepare audio description of current exhibition, please contact us if you have any questions

Guide dogs and other support animals are welcome at the gallery.

Deaf and hard of hearing visitors

British Sign Language

We will book British Sign Language interpreters on request, where feasible, for free public programmes with two or more weeks' notice. Please contact us if you have a request.

Deaf-led tours


We run a British Sign Language deaf-led tour around each of our exhibitions, these will normally be advertised via our Upcoming Events page and in our newsletter, or you can get in touch for more information
