Mimosa House invites you to join us at the community view of 'Hidden Labours', the final chapter of Mimosa House's 'transfeminisms' exhibition, featuring the work of CASSILS, Liz Cohen, Elena Tejada-Herrera and Selma Selman. The event will be held on the 30th November, 11am - 2pm.
This chapter focuses on ideas around labour, work and identity. It explores how women are expected to perform certain forms of work and labour, such as emotional labour, creative labour and reproductive labour. In the exhibition space you will see a range of different artworks, including photography, video and sound work.
We will be serving breakfast from 11:00, followed by an introduction to the exhibition by the curator and other creative activities onsite.
