Mimosa House presents "Ways of Reading", a tarot workshop with artist Daniella Valz Gen.

This workshop will focus on the act of reading images based on Tarot and Cartomancy, with the aim to provide a foundation for the creation of narrative through the use of the cards. After a brief introduction to Tarot, we will delve into a series of creative exercises to help us define and sharpen our approach to reading cards in sequence.

Daniella Valz Gen is an artist and a poet born in Lima and living in London, with an ongoing practice of tarot and ritual. Their work explores alterity and liminality with an emphasis on embodiment and a practice of expanded text. Daniella's approach to divination is creative and playful, as much as it's grounded and empathic.

If you have your own tarot deck please do bring it along. No previous previous experience with tarot is necessary.
